A Private Couples Retreat creates a pivotal turning point in a marriage relationship and accomplishes 6 months of counseling in one weekend for those couples who are open to the experience. 

Deborah Rees sees couples in Private Couples Retreats for Marriage Intensives. Couples spend two days together at a beautiful, relaxing condo venue, 5 minutes from the North Carolina beach, while meeting with Deborah for some extensive work on their marriage.

This approach allows your marriage counseling experience to move toward a richer and deeper level in your relationship, teaching you skills to enhance your communication and your love. 

The Gottman Method of Couples Counseling rests on more than 40 years of research from the work of John Gottman, PhD and Julie Gottman, PhD, a husband and wife team who founded The Gottman Institute. Our 2-Day Private Retreat begins with taking the Gottman Relationship Checkup.

A Private Couples Retreat is a practical solution for those couples who have difficulty scheduling regular appointments due to travel or other obligations. Couples who have overwhelming and busy responsibilities in life need a Get-a-Way that focuses on their relationship.

Your Couples Retreat at the beach is $2800.00 for a two-day couples retreat. 

An added bonus ---You may stay overnight up to 3 nights at the retreat condo venue during the 2 day retreat at no additional cost to you. You will have a private separate bedroom and bath for your personal quarters. 

If you choose not to stay at the retreat venue, other arrangements can be made at Sunset Beach, NC, Ocean Isle Beach, NC or surrounding area. Deborah will give great suggestions for reasonably priced lodging. Condos stays are available at Golf Courses or at the Beach.

This intensive style of marriage therapy can begin with a videoconferencing online consultation session with you as a couple. The videoconferencing will give you the opportunity to meet Deborah and decide if a Private Retreat is right for your relationship or marriage.
